Meet Anew
A home robot designed to take on the everyday chores, one at a time, until the house runs itself.
- Moves
- A wheeled base that can turn in place and slide sideways through kitchens and hallways.
- Reaches
- A lift and two arms, so it can work from the floor up to high cabinets.
- Holds
- Arms with brakes that keep their position if the power goes out.
- Sees
- Cameras on the head and wrists. Processing happens inside the home whenever possible.
- Charges
- Returns to its own dock. The contacts stay off until it is in place.
- Listens
- Takes simple requests from the app: tidy this room, check the fridge, go charge.
These are design goals for a robot still in development. Final specifications will be published before any robot ships.
